Water & sewer
Reuse more recovered water and reduce unnecessary domestic water demand.
Smart Water™ Programs for Car Washes
Water quality drives nearly every stage of your car wash—and directly affects your wash quality, chemical performance, equipment reliability, and operating costs.
BioTech Water Solutions manages water quality throughout the entire wash process. The result is cleaner vehicles, more efficient chemistry, less water waste, lower utility and maintenance costs, and a better customer experience.
Improve Your Water Quality. Improve Your Entire Wash.
One connected water strategy. Four operator outcomes.
The Smart Water™ Platform
Water is involved in roughly 80% of the car wash cleaning process. Its hardness, alkalinity, pH, dissolved oxygen, and overall quality directly influence how effectively detergents clean, rinses release, protectants perform, and equipment operates.
The Smart Water™ Platform conditions and manages water throughout the wash so every gallon—and every chemical applied through it—works more effectively. The result is better wash performance with lower water, chemistry, salt, utility, and maintenance costs.
Condition the water. Optimize the chemistry. Recover more for reuse.
Operator economics first
Smart Water™ improves the environment in which chemistry, equipment, and reclaim systems operate. Every recommendation is tied to a measurable operating expense and its effect on cost per car.
Reuse more recovered water and reduce unnecessary domestic water demand.
Create water conditions that improve chemical dispersion, coverage, and product efficiency.
Reduce sludge, biofilm, scale, tank cleaning, and avoidable equipment stress.
Deliver more consistent cleaning, rinsing, drying, and customer experience.
Interactive operating calculator
Use your monthly Domestic Water Cost, car volume, local rates, and water hardness to establish a practical operating baseline.
Three programs. One operating strategy.
WaterIQ™ conditions the water, ChemistryIQ™ improves how chemistry performs in that water, and ReclaimIQ™ treats it for productive reuse. Together, they form one measurable performance loop across the wash.
Condition
Conditions incoming, softened, and RO water so chemistry can work more efficiently, equipment operates under less stress, and water rinses more cleanly.
Clean
Matches purpose-built wash chemistry to conditioned water so detergents, foaming products, polishes, and sealants can deliver more consistent results with less waste.
Recover
Treats recovered wash water with oxygen nanobubbles, beneficial biology, and solids management so more water remains usable throughout the wash.
The engine beneath the platform
An Advanced Oxidation Process is a water-treatment principle that generates highly reactive oxygen species—especially hydroxyl radicals—to oxidize oils, surfactants, odor-forming compounds, and other organic contaminants into simpler forms.

BioTech nanobubble generators use hydrodynamic cavitation to create oxygen nanobubbles with high surface area, surface charge, and internal pressure. These properties keep oxygen dispersed in the water and create a highly active gas-to-water interface.
As nanobubbles react or collapse—and when they are paired with controlled catalytic oxidation—the stored pressure and oxygen support the formation of reactive oxygen species. These short-lived oxidants attack organic contamination while sustained dissolved oxygen supports aerobic biology.
Nanobubbles are the delivery and activation mechanismthat helps AOP work across WaterIQ™, ChemistryIQ™, and ReclaimIQ™.
Through controlled hydrodynamic cavitation, entrained oxygen is converted into nanometer-sized bubbles, significantly increasing the gas-to-water interfacial area.
Surface charge and near-neutral buoyancy keep the bubbles dispersed, improving oxygen retention, transfer, and contact time.
Bubble collapse and catalytic reactions support reactive oxygen species, including hydroxyl radicals, that oxidize organic contaminants.

Align chemistry with conditioned water to improve coverage, cleaning, and product efficiency.
Manage oxygen, biology, solids, and recovered water for greater reuse and fewer operating problems.
Your BioTech engineering partner
BioTech works with your operator, service team, and existing chemical provider to improve performance without forcing the wash into a single equipment or chemistry line. Smart Water™ programs are designed to generate more savings and new revenue than they add in service cost. Reduced domestic-water and utility expenses, lower salt purchases, greater reclaim-water use, less chemical waste, and lower maintenance costs have produced an average 18% reduction in operating costs, while improved wash quality and customer satisfaction have supported an average 11% increase in revenue across applicable program results. Actual results vary by site and are verified through ongoing reporting.
