ReclaimIQ™

Recover more. Maintain less.

Manage the conditions - not just the symptoms.

ReclaimIQ™ transforms recovered wash water from a recurring maintenance problem into a managed operating resource by combining targeted biology, nanobubble oxygenation, advanced oxidation principles, and solids control.

The operating challenge

Odor and cloudy water are warning signs.

Low dissolved oxygen, organic loading, incompatible chemistry, and poor solids removal allow anaerobic conditions, sludge, and biofilm to build.

Odor

Anaerobic activity can produce hydrogen sulfide and other objectionable gases.

Sludge

Organic loading and settled solids increase cleaning and pump-out demand.

Biofilm

Low-flow surfaces and poorly conditioned tanks allow growth to persist.

Inconsistent reuse

Unstable quality forces operators to replace reclaim water with domestic water.

Water economics per vehicle

The wash uses more water than it buys.

In an International Carwash Association study of exterior conveyor washes with reclaim, operators used an average of 30 gallons of new freshwater and approximately 87 gallons of reclaimed water per vehicle. That is about 117 gallons applied during a wash. The reclaimed portion circulates through the process, so 117 gallons does not mean 117 gallons purchased.

ReclaimIQ™ uses advanced ROS treatment to make recovered wash water suitable for more wash steps, reducing the domestic water the wash needs to purchase.

RO reject (RJ)Recover water for reuse

Returning RJ water to reclaim can offset makeup water lost to evaporation and vehicle carryout. Its concentrated minerals must be monitored before reuse.

Where can ReclaimIQ™ reduce purchased water?

Domestic water supplies chemical dilution, hard-water rinses, and wrap lubrication. Spot-free water provides the final rinse. ReclaimIQ™ combines nanobubbles (ROS), biological treatment, and polishing chemistry to clarify recovered wash water and support reactive oxygen species (ROS). Treated water replaces purchased water in more wash and rinse steps reducing operating costs and saving domestic water usage.

RO reject (RJ) water returns to the reclaim system to offset evaporation and water carried off on vehicles; it is not sprayed directly onto vehicles. Because RJ carries concentrated dissolved minerals, ReclaimIQ™ monitors TDS and rinse quality for improved clarity and water break; reducing the rinse volume required.

Wash operators report, the Smart Water™ program obtains an 18–30% reduction in domestic water purchases. See your potential savings in the ReclaimIQ™ calculator.

Industry benchmark: International Carwash Association, Water Use, Evaporation and Carryout in Professional Car Washes (2018). RO spot-free volume and concentrate recovery vary by site; measure those streams separately.

The ReclaimIQ™ process

Four functions working as one system.

ReclaimIQ™ is not a single additive or equipment sale. Each layer supports the next to recover more usable water with less reactive maintenance.

  1. 01

    Measure and diagnose

Establish sludge depth, turbidity, pH, dissolved oxygen, ORP, conductivity, and nitrogen conditions.

  2. 02

    Digest organic loading

Targeted microbiology breaks down organic waste feeding sludge, odor, and biofilm.

  3. 03

    Oxygenate and oxidize

Nanobubbles improve oxygen transfer and support a healthy aerobic process.

  4. 04

    Separate and remove solids

Proper separation prevents captured solids from continuously recycling through the system.

  5. 05

    Polish and protect

Controlled monitoring and final conditioning stabilize water before it returns to the wash.

Program architecture

Separation alone does not make recovered water ready for greater reuse.

Many car washes already have separator tanks and cyclonic filters. They remove grit and larger suspended solids, but dissolved and emulsified residues from detergents, waxes, oils, and grease can remain in the water. As those compounds accumulate, odor, film, and inconsistent wash quality limit where operators can reuse it. ReclaimIQ™ adds treatment beyond physical separation so more recovered water can reliably replace purchased domestic water in suitable wash steps.

Separate solids

Keep tanks and cyclones working on grit and separable particles; remove captured material before it circulates again.

Oxygenate and oxidize

Nanobubble oxygenation supports aerobic conditions. Controlled advanced oxidation processes help break down persistent organic compounds that separation cannot capture.

Treat with biology

Targeted microorganisms digest biodegradable organic loading that feeds sludge, biofilm, and odor.

Chemically polish and measure

Site-specific chemical polishing and water-quality monitoring condition the remaining water for approved reuse applications without compromising the biological process.

Managed by measurement

Performance you can measure and verify.

Site-specific operating goals are established from the water analysis, wash configuration, equipment, chemistry, treatment demand, and intended application. Select a measurement to learn why it matters and view its normal range or operating goal.

The operator benefit

Turn better water performance into operating value.

Use less domestic water

Return more conditioned reclaim water to compatible applications.

Reduce tank pump-outs

Manage organic loading and solids before they become major service events.

Lower treatment waste

Replace repeated shock treatment with controlled biological management.

Improve consistency

Operate against measurable water goals and documented site trends.

Put more recovered water to work

Find out how much domestic water your wash can replace.

We will review your existing separators and cyclones, test what remains in the recovered water, and identify where ReclaimIQ™ treatment can support greater reuse. Build a site-specific plan to reduce purchased water and avoidable operating costs while protecting wash quality.
